At SWOOP, we believe that we have one of the best views in Ontario! One plane ride will show you on the spectacular sight below of the entire Golden Horseshoe. You can see Waterdown, Guelph, Dundas, Hamilton, the Hamilton Harbour, Burlington, the Burlington Skyway Bridge, Lake Ontario, the nearby Conservation Areas and the Niagara Escarpment. On a clear day, we can see the mist of Niagara Falls and the C.N. Tower! Click on the Directions link for a map and detailed written directions.

Availability

SWOOP is open for student operations every weekend and on all public holidays, starting at 8:00 a.m. from about the end of April to the beginning of October every year, depending on the weather.

Please be aware that SWOOP is not open for student jumps during weekdays. Since we are a non-profit Club, we all have weekday jobs, and are unavailable for student training and jumping throughout the week. However, for experienced jumpers, we are open on Wednesday and Friday evenings, after about 5:00pm.

Equipment

Our aircraft are standard in the skydiving industry and are kept up-to-date in partnership with Transport Canada and in compliance with the Canadian Air Regulations. SWOOP employs 3 aircraft: a six seat Cessna 206 and two 4-seater Cessna 182's.
